As a (para)medic, you deal with general financial issues as well as those specific to your profession. Since 1977, Sibbing has specialized in guiding (para)medical professionals, advising them on matters such as practice establishment, contracts, financing, financial planning, mortgages, insurance, and pension schemes.
In addition, Sibbing offers a wide range of services in the fields of accountancy and taxation, including preparing annual financial statements and filing tax returns. The company serves medical specialists, general practitioners, dentists, midwives, and physiotherapists, among others. Sibbing aims for comprehensive services without overlaps or gaps, combining in-depth knowledge of the financial aspects of various medical practices with business engagement. Attention to the personal circumstances of the customer takes precedence, and professional advisors with high levels of knowledge and experience ensure customized solutions.
The challenge
Centrally managing diverse relationships (customers) on different platforms posed a significant challenge for Sibbing. The problem was the lack of synchronous data across the organization, a crucial requirement for delivering tailor-made solutions. This also made it more challenging to assign a unique customer number to each relationship. The key to improvement? Providing various cloud and on-premises systems with integrated data and creating better integration flows.
The solution: iPaaS with Boomi
Due to its expertise in integration and Boomi technology, Emixa was the ideal partner to assist Sibbing in optimally integrating systems. The choice was an iPaaS solution based on Boomi MDM (Master Data Management). An iPaaS platform facilitates integrations between systems in the cloud and/or on-premises, allowing applications to be effortlessly supplied with integrated data. The result? A single source of truth throughout the organization, the elimination of information silos, and improved data quality.
The solution built by Emixa and Sibbing ensures seamless integration of the crucial business systems AFAS and ANVA (specialized software supporting insurance processes and customer relationship management). This creates an environment (master data hub) where Sibbing can easily centralize and monitor customer data. For the AFAS integration, REST APIs were chosen, while Sibbing uses XML integration for ANVA. Both Emixa and Sibbing are satisfied with the collaboration. The high-level design for the solution was finalized in April of this year, followed by the testing phase in May, and the application went live in July. No significant complications arose; the technology performed exactly as intended.
The result
Thanks to the new iPaaS solution, Sibbing now has a well-centralized and integrated information environment. The MDM landscape's approach makes it easier than ever to validate data and systems. Additionally, there is no longer any duplication of data. Soon, Sibbing plans to add three more systems to the central data hub. The organization deliberately chose to fully embrace the cloud, especially since it is the easiest and most suitable solution for Sibbing.
